Knights vs Barbarians

Pragmatic Play presents Knights vs Barbarians, a video slot featuring 5 reels and 3 rows, along with 10 fixed paylines, all set against a backdrop of medieval battles between opposing factions. Central to the gameplay is the Center Symbol Feature, where only the middle position on the third reel is framed. When special scatters land in this position during the base game, they trigger powerful conversion effects. If a Knight Scatter occupies the center spot, all Knight symbols on the grid, including the scatter, transform into wilds; conversely, a Barbarian Scatter affects Barbarian-themed symbols in the same way. A Battle Scatter appearing in the center initiates a duel, selects a side, applies a random multiplier ranging from 2× to 100× to winning symbols, and converts the symbols of the winning side into wilds.

To activate Free Spins, players need to land three, four, or five Free Spins scatters anywhere on the reels, which awards 10, 15, or 20 spins respectively. The center position becomes more dynamic during the Free Spins feature, ensuring that each spin guarantees one of the special scatter types in the center, with additional spins awarded if a Free Spins Scatter lands there. Players can also opt for special bets or modifiers: an Ante Bet increases the likelihood of triggering Free Spins, while a Super Spin guarantees a special scatter in the center for that spin.

In regions where available, a Feature Buy option allows players to purchase the Free Spins feature directly, with a more expensive choice offering a Super Free Spins mode where only Battle Scatters or Free Spins Scatters can appear in the center position. The game's maximum win potential can reach up to 10,000× the bet when feature triggers, multipliers, and wild transformations align. The atmosphere is rich with themes of conflict, featuring symbols of armor, weapons, banners, and battlefield imagery, highlighting the struggle between knights and barbarians rather than a softer fantasy theme.
