Pyrofox by Hacksaw is a video slot played on a 5-reel, 4-row grid with 14 fixed paylines. Its theme blends fiery woodland scenery with a mischievous fox character, backed by rich animation and tones of orange, brown, and red to evoke sparks and forest fires. The base game features a special Pyro symbol that, when part of a winning combination, expands to fill its entire reel as a wild; only one Pyro symbol can appear per reel and it’s inactive in one of the free spins modes.
The game has two distinct free spins modes. Blaze of Glory is triggered by landing three Full Moon scatters and awards 10 free spins with sticky wilds that remain locked in place for the entire bonus round. Flame Fox’s Frenzy is triggered by three Fire Tree scatters and starts with 10 spins, but also increases the appearance rate of both wilds and Pyro symbols during that mode. Both free spins modes include a global multiplier that starts at x1 and increments by +1 with each spin, applying to all wins throughout the feature.
Before either free spins bonus starts, there is a “Fiery Wheel of Fortune” gamble option allowing up to three gambles: after the first you can gamble to try for more spins, but losing at certain stages ends the bonus or reverts you to a base number of spins. Players can also access various feature-buy options. These include BonusHunt FeatureSpins (which cost a multiple of the bet and make bonus triggering more likely), WildFire FeatureSpins (which introduce a random global multiplier before each spin), or direct purchases of the Blaze of Glory or Flame Fox’s Frenzy free spins rounds.
The maximum win potential is very large, reaching up to 15,000× the stake. The game is highly volatile, meaning wins can come less often but with high payout potential when features align. Symbols include low-value card royals and higher paying thematic icons like axes, logs, lighters and leaf motifs, plus wilds which substitute for regular symbols and carry premium payouts when combined.
You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
