Sand and Ashes

Hacksaw presents Sand and Ashes, a video slot featuring a layout of 5 reels and 5 rows, complemented by 19 fixed paylines. The game immerses players in a dark and atmospheric interpretation of Ancient Egypt, showcasing elements like ruined temples, desert sands, and scarabs, all wrapped in a brooding visual aesthetic. At the heart of the gameplay is the Wild Scarab Multiplier, which activates when a Wild Scarab is part of a winning combination; it carries a multiplier value that can reach up to x200 in the base game, becomes sticky, and initiates a respin. This respin chain can continue indefinitely as new Wild Scarab Multipliers appear, potentially creating significant multiplier stacks. During respins, two modifiers known as Firestorm and Sandstorm may come into play. Firestorm boosts the values of all Wild Scarab Multipliers on the grid, while Sandstorm shifts all Wild Scarabs one reel to the left when possible. The game features two unique free spin bonus rounds: landing three scatter symbols activates the Desert Fury mode, granting eight free spins with a heightened chance of Wild Scarab Multipliers; landing four scatters triggers Storming Sphinx, which offers ten free spins where Wild Scarab Multipliers remain on the grid without respinning, and both storm modifiers can activate with each free spin. Additionally, players can earn extra free spins in both modes by landing two or three scatter symbols simultaneously. A Feature Buy menu is available, allowing players to directly access bonus or free spin rounds, including options to enhance Wild Scarab frequency or ensure specific wilds for a multiple of the bet.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
