Valhalla Saga. Thunder of Thor

Yggdrasil's Valhalla Saga. Thunder of Thor is a video slot featuring a 5×3 layout and 20 paylines, inspired by Norse mythology and centered around the god Thor along with his hammer, Mjölnir. The game showcases rugged landscapes of Asgard, Viking ships, axes, runic symbols, and a powerful wild hammer that substitutes for standard pay symbols. A notable aspect of the game is the "Thunder of Thor" modifier, which can be randomly activated during the base game, introducing wild symbols that come with multipliers ranging from 2x to 100x; these multipliers apply only once per winline. Scatters play a crucial role, as landing five or more anywhere on the reels triggers the Free Spins bonus round, granting 5 free spins. If a player lands four scatters, they can benefit from a Bonus Respin feature, providing an opportunity to land a fifth scatter and activate Free Spins. During the Free Spins, a mechanic known as PowerLinks highlights the reel positions where the triggering scatters appeared. Additional scatters that land in these special zones can upgrade the frames through various tiers—wooden, bronze, silver, gold, and fire. At the conclusion of the free spins, each framed position reveals a prize or jackpot based on its frame level, with the highest Fire frame capable of containing the Mega jackpot. Additionally, players have the option to use a Bonus Buy feature, allowing them to pay a fixed multiple of their stake to gain immediate access to the Free Spins feature. The game is characterized by high volatility and offers a maximum win potential of up to 10,000× the bet when combining wild multipliers with the PowerLinks mechanism.
