Retro Sweets

Pushgaming presents Retro Sweets, a high-volatility video slot that features a 6×9 grid and utilizes cluster pays mechanics, where players achieve wins by forming clusters of five or more matching symbols. The game showcases a lively retro candy theme, set against a pastel-colored diner backdrop that evokes the nostalgic vibes of the 80s and 90s, complete with bright confections, neon lighting, and a synth music soundtrack. In the base game, cascading wins occur: when a cluster wins, the winning symbols disappear, allowing new symbols to fall into place, which can lead to additional clusters. Wild Candy symbols serve as substitutes for non-special symbols and come with a multiplier that begins at 1×, increasing by 1 for each cluster win they contribute to during a cascade. Additionally, players will encounter Wild Multiplier or "Sweet Bomb" symbols that enhance all visible Wild Candies by up to 5× before turning into Instant Prize symbols. When five or more Instant Prize symbols cluster together, they pay out, with values reaching up to 1,000× the bet, and there are also Instant Prize Multiplier symbols that can amplify these values before converting into regular Instant Prizes. The Sweet Collector symbol functions like a magnet, selecting a specific pay symbol type or Instant Prizes and drawing 4-9 of them towards itself to form or boost a winning cluster. Landing three or more Wild Candy symbols triggers free spins, granting between 6-12 spins based on the number of symbols landed; during this round, all triggering Wild Candies and any Instant Prizes become sticky, while empty spaces can yield extra spins, special symbols, multipliers, or additional Wilds. Furthermore, players can utilize the Push Bet feature, which allows them to pay 2× or 4× the standard bet for a guaranteed appearance of one or two Wild Candy symbols on each base spin, enhancing the chances for clusters and bonuses. Lastly, in certain jurisdictions, a Bonus Buy option is available, enabling direct access to the free spins feature, such as paying 120× for a version with up to six Wild Candy symbols or 400× for additional enhancements, including a guaranteed Wild Multiplier.
