Diamond Link™: Cops 'n' Robbers™ V2

In Novomatic's Diamond Link™: Cops 'n' Robbers™ V2, players encounter a video slot that features a layout of 5 reels and 3 rows, along with 20 fixed paylines. The game’s theme combines the excitement of classic cops-and-robbers narratives with dazzling diamonds, thrilling heists, police chases, and the playful character of the robber Bert. The Diamond Link™ Feature, also known as Diamond Cash™, activates when six or more Diamond symbols appear in a single spin. When triggered, all Diamond symbols from the base game transform into Pink Diamonds, each carrying values that act as multipliers of the bet.

As the Diamond Link™ Feature unfolds, one to four highlighted areas are created behind randomly selected Diamonds on the reels. A board game comes into play, where Bert advances across squares determined by dice rolls. These squares represent various fields: Spin Fields, Jail Fields, Diamond Fields, and Special Fields. Landing on a Spin Field locks all Diamond symbols in place while respinning the non-Diamond positions for a chance to gather more Diamonds. If Bert lands on a Jail Field, an ID Parade occurs, where he may be “busted,” concluding the Diamond Link™ Feature. When landing on a Diamond Field, the multiplier on the getaway truck increases, all Diamond multipliers on the board are doubled, and the Security Level rises, increasing the stakes for the next ID Parade. Special Fields grant a golden dice roll that randomly activates one of the Add, Multiply, or Collect modifiers, impacting highlighted Pink Diamonds.

During the Diamond Link™ Feature, Sticky Diamonds remain fixed throughout respins. The feature concludes if Bert is caught during the ID Parade, if all 15 reel positions are filled with Diamonds (resulting in the Grand Jackpot), or when the player reaches the highest possible win. The game includes four jackpot tiers: Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand, each with its own prize limits. In the base game, Wild symbols can substitute for all regular symbols, except for Diamond symbols. The inclusion of Free Spins or Bonus Buy features in this version is unclear, as they are not part of the main documented mechanics.
