Wish Upon a Star

Novomatic's Wish Upon a Star is a video slot that features a 5×3 reel setup and offers 243 ways to win, all set against a cheerful Christmas backdrop filled with festive symbols like stars, candy canes, presents, bells, candles, and Christmas trees. A notable aspect of the game is the stacked wild symbol, designed as a gift, which can trigger a “pick & click” bonus when it covers either reel 2 or 4 entirely. During this bonus, players select from various wrapped presents to uncover prizes, and if both reels are filled with stacked wilds, the bonus expands to include additional choices. Activating the Free Games mode occurs when three or more Bonus (scatter) symbols appear on reels 1, 3, and 5, granting 10 free spins that can be retriggered. Another exciting feature is the Jackpots: landing six or more Bonus symbols anywhere on the reels locks them in place and awards three bonus spins, with new Bonus symbols resetting the spin counter. If the entire screen is filled with stars (Bonus symbols), the Grand Jackpot is awarded; otherwise, each star displayed pays out after the bonus spins conclude. Wild symbols can substitute for all regular symbols, excluding Bonus scatters and stars. The game also includes an Autoplay function that halts automatically when a bonus feature is activated. With a higher maximum bet than many casual slots, it attracts players who prefer larger stakes. The game's visuals exude a strong festive spirit, and while many features may be familiar to seasoned slot players, Wish Upon a Star successfully integrates them into a holiday-themed experience with various opportunities for bonus wins.
