Welcome Fortune

Novomatic's Welcome Fortune is a video slot that features an Asian-inspired theme, showcasing elements such as jade coins, sacred scrolls, and symbols associated with luck, including feng shui coins, gold bars, bells, bonsai trees, and the cheerful Chinese master Choy. The game operates on a grid of 5 reels and 25 paylines in its base mode, incorporating classic card symbols alongside premium thematic icons. Choy serves as the Wild symbol, substituting for standard symbols (excluding Jade Coins and Scrolls) to assist in forming winning combinations; however, during the Free Games, he is limited to specific reels. Jade Coins function as Scatters, activating a Free Games round when three or more appear, granting ten spins and combining the middle three reels into a large central reel. Landing a Jade Coin on this central reel awards additional Free Games, while a Scroll triggers the Hold & Respin feature. The Scroll symbols come with fixed prize values or jackpot levels and can activate the Hold & Respin feature when six or more are present in the base game or when a Giant Scroll appears during Free Games. In this feature, all Scrolls remain locked, providing three respins, and each new Scroll resets the respin count; filling all available positions with Scrolls can lead to the Grand Jackpot. Welcome Fortune by Novomatic does not feature multipliers beyond those associated with symbols or jackpots, nor does it include a progressive element.
