Crystal Queen

Quickspin presents Crystal Queen, a video slot set in a winter wonderland that draws inspiration from H.C. Andersen’s Snow Queen fairytale. The game features a 5×3 reel setup with 20 fixed paylines, enhanced by the “Swooping Reels” mechanic that activates with each winning combination. When a win occurs, the symbols involved vanish, allowing new ones to fall into place, and each consecutive win, known as a “swoop,” can unlock additional frozen rows above the reels—up to three, expanding the layout to 5×6 reels with 56 paylines. With each swoop, a multiplier increases: it starts at 2× after the first win, rises to 3× after the second, and reaches 5× after the third, applying to subsequent wins in that sequence.

The game includes two varieties of Wild symbols: a standard Wild that substitutes for regular symbols (excluding Scatters) and a Spreading Wild that can appear on specific reels, transforming adjacent positions into more Wilds. Additionally, players can trigger a Free Spins bonus by landing three or more Scatter symbols. During Free Spins, all six rows and 56 paylines are active from the first spin, with wins counted in both directions—left-to-right and right-to-left. If no more wins occur in a Swooping Reels sequence, the game resets to its original 3-row and 20-payline layout. The maximum win is limited, and the original version does not include a feature buy option.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
