Phoenix Sun

Phoenix Sun from Quickspin is a video slot game with 5 reels that starts with 3 rows and 243 ways to win, but can expand to 6 rows and a total of 7,776 ways to win. The game has an Egyptian theme and is visually rich with symbols such as Anubis, Bastet, scarabs, and golden hieroglyphs set against a backdrop of pyramids. A special symbol, Phoenix Wild, is central – it replaces all regular symbols and activates the game's Phoenix Rising Respin feature when it contributes to a winning combination. Each time Phoenix Wild lands and forms a win, three blocks are removed from the upper covering of the game board, and a respin is granted with the expanding game board. The respin sequence continues as long as new Phoenix Wild symbols appear in winning combinations. If the player collects five Phoenix Wilds during a round – including via respins – the free spins mode is triggered where the game board is fully expanded with 6 rows and 7,776 ways to win. During the free spins round, no new Phoenix Wilds are awarded, but regular Wilds continue to replace other symbols to create wins. There is no bonus buy feature in Phoenix Sun; the game focuses on gradually opening up the game board through respins and collected Phoenix Wilds. The betting ranges adjust from low to higher stakes, making the game accessible for players with different budgets. No multiplier feature exists beyond the ways to win activated by expanding reels.
