Book of Duat

Quickspin's Book of Duat is a video slot featuring a grid of 5 reels and 3 rows, with 10 fixed paylines. Set in ancient Egypt, players accompany the explorer Anna as she delves into tombs alongside deities such as Anubis and Sobek in search of treasures. The Book symbol serves a dual purpose as both a Wild and a Scatter, substituting for other symbols and activating the Free Spins Bonus when three or more appear during the Base Game. Upon triggering the Free Spins Bonus, players engage in a Pick and Click mini-game, where the number of picks (3, 6, or 12) depends on whether they landed 3, 4, or 5 Scatter/Wild symbols. Initially, the Base Game grants 4 free spins, along with 1 expanding symbol and a 1× multiplier. The Pick and Click feature uncovers tiles that can provide additional free spins, extra expanding symbols, or multipliers of up to 5×, and any remaining picks after all tiles are revealed yield a set free spin award. During the Free Spins, the expanding symbols cover entire reels, allowing for wins to be evaluated from any position on the reels, not just from left to right, and multiple expanding symbols are treated independently. Additionally, Wild/Scatter symbols can retrigger free spins and offer extra picks during the Free Spins round, providing 2 additional spins and picks for landing 3, 4, or 5 wilds. The game also features a Bonus Buy option in the Base Game, enabling players to purchase entry into the Pick and Click feature by paying a multiple of their bet for guaranteed 3, 4, or 5 wilds. Overall, the design merges classic Book-slot mechanics with added choices through Pick and Click, along with generous expanding symbols and multipliers that can greatly influence the Free Spins bonus round.
