Wins are achieved through a scatter pays mechanic, requiring players to land eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the reels. When winning symbols appear, they vanish, allowing new symbols to cascade down, potentially leading to additional wins within the same spin. The game includes three Soul Meters—Vampire, Zombie, and Demon—that fill up with souls collected from winning symbols or through a special Heavens Gift symbol. To activate the Vampire Soul Meter, a specific number of souls must be collected, which then upgrades low-value symbols; if overfilled, this feature can trigger multiple upgrades. The Zombie meter, once filled, activates a color removal feature that eliminates all symbols of a random color, collecting their souls in the process. Upon collecting enough souls, the Demon meter initiates the Free Spins feature, granting an initial eight free spins and additional spins for every extra chunk of souls collected beyond the base requirement. During the free spins, any remaining Demon souls at the end of each spin convert into a win multiplier, which increases with the number of unused souls. Wild symbols can substitute for all regular symbols, except for the Heavens Gift, which is exclusively used to add souls to the meters. Scatter Monsters does not include a bonus buy feature.
