Shields of Lambda

Developed by Quickspin, "Shields of Lambda" is a video slot that features a 5×5 grid and utilizes a "cluster pays" system, where players need at least five matching symbols to be adjacent either horizontally or vertically to achieve wins. The game is themed around ancient Greece, drawing inspiration from the legendary Spartan warriors who proudly display the Lambda emblem on their shields, enhanced by striking visuals and an engaging soundtrack. A significant aspect of the gameplay is the Lambda Meter; each time a Lambda symbol appears in a winning cluster, it adds to this meter. In the base game, players must gather 70 Lambda symbols to fill the meter, while only 20 are required during the Ferryman’s Free Spins feature. When the meter reaches its full capacity, the Unity Feature activates, filling the grid with a random low symbol and starting a series of "tumbling reels" that persist as long as new winning combinations are created. Colossal Wilds may also show up during losing spins, taking the form of a 2×2 block and aiding in filling the Lambda Meter. The Free Spins round is triggered by landing three or more Scatter symbols, offering 10, 15, or 20 free spins based on the number of Scatters collected. If Free Spins are activated with fewer than five Scatters, players have the chance to gamble in hopes of increasing their free spins, but failing this gamble means losing the entire round. During the Free Spins mode, the Unity Feature introduces a progressive multiplier that rises by +1 for each successful tumble, with no upper limit, and if Unity is reactivated in the same round, the multiplier remains intact. Furthermore, players have the option to buy the Free Spins round directly from the base game for a cost of 70 times their bet, guaranteeing at least three Scatters.
