Helios Triple Sun

Pragmatic Play's Helios Triple Sun is a video slot that features a grid of 6 reels and 5 rows, utilizing a “scatter-pays” mechanic instead of traditional fixed paylines. Wins are triggered when eight or more matching symbols appear anywhere on the grid, allowing symbols to tumble away and new ones to fall in, with this tumbling continuing as long as new wins occur. The game is inspired by Greek mythology, showcasing Helios, the sun god, against a temple-like setting, with red, yellow, and blue suns serving as Scatters, alongside regular symbols like crowns, urns, rings, and decorative gems.

In Helios Triple Sun, there are three distinct types of “Sun” Scatters, each represented by a different color and collected in corresponding pots above the reels. Collecting these pots can randomly activate the Free Spins feature, which brings modifiers based on the Sun pot(s) that triggered it. The Red Sun provides Multiplier symbols with random values, the Yellow Sun adds an extra row to reels 2-5, and the Blue Sun introduces a Total Multiplier that increases with each tumble win.

During the Free Spins round, players start with eight spins, and collecting additional Sun Scatters can award three extra spins while potentially activating any modifiers not already in play, allowing for combinations of one, two, or all three modifiers. There is also a Bonus Buy feature available, which includes a standard Free Spins buy that randomly grants one to three modifiers and a more costly Super Free Spins buy that ensures all three modifiers are active from the first spin. An Ante Bet option in the base game allows players to increase their stake per spin for a better chance of triggering the Free Spins feature.

The maximum win potential is around 5,000 times your stake, and the game does not include Wild symbols. Helios Triple Sun is known for delivering frequent smaller wins in its base game, with a medium volatility rating.
