The Easter Catch

The Easter Catch, developed by Evoplay, is a classic video slot that consists of 5 reels and 3 rows, featuring 10 fixed paylines. Players are invited to experience a charming mix of Easter motifs and fishing escapades, joining fisherman Harry at a tranquil pond filled with springtime colors, bunnies, fishing equipment, and colorful fish. In the base game, players can encounter Scatter symbols represented by fish adorned with Easter eggs, and gathering three or more of these Scatters can lead to 10, 15, or 20 free spins.

As the free spins round commences, Wild symbols are introduced, capable of substituting for all regular symbols except Scatters. These Wilds also possess a special collecting feature; when they land alongside fish symbols, they accumulate the monetary values of the visible fish. Furthermore, Wilds aid in filling a buoy bar, and collecting four Wilds resets this bar, providing 10 additional free spins and a multiplier for the fishing mechanic that starts at 2× and can escalate to 3× and even 10×.

During a free spin, if a Wild appears without any fish symbols, the dynamite feature may activate, converting three to six regular symbols into fish symbols and offering another opportunity to trigger the fishing feature. The Easter Catch also incorporates a Bonus Buy feature, allowing players to directly access free spins without waiting for Scatters in the base game. The game’s design highlights that the most exciting features primarily occur during the free spins phase, while the base game remains straightforward, amplifying the thrill of the bonus elements.
