Free the Dragon™

Playtech presents Free the Dragon™, a captivating video slot that immerses players in a medieval world filled with treasures and enchanting dragon symbols. This game is structured with five reels and three rows, utilizing a "243 ways to win" system, allowing winning combinations to form from adjacent symbols moving from left to right without the need for fixed paylines. In the base game, players will find a Wild symbol that can replace all standard symbols, except for the special Pearls and Free Games symbols.

The primary bonus feature, known as the "Dragon Feature" or Hold & Win style, is triggered by landing six or more Pearl symbols. Once activated, players receive three respins, during which the Pearls already on the grid remain in place. Any new Pearls that appear during these respins will reset the count back to three. Each Pearl symbol conceals a value ranging from 1× to 250× the bet or one of four fixed jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand. If all positions on the four standard reels are filled, a Super Reel is unlocked, spinning once to reveal various bonuses, jackpots, or multipliers.

Additionally, the game includes Free Spins symbols. Landing three of these symbols on the reels, or utilizing the optional Extra Bet feature, activates free spins. The Free Games symbols are sticky, remaining on the reels for three spins, with new symbols extending their duration. During the free games, players can unlock lockable boxes positioned above and below the grid using keys—green keys for the upper boxes containing multipliers up to 100×, and red keys for the lower boxes that offer extra spins, instant wins, or jackpots.

An Extra Bet option is available, increasing the bet by about 25% while enhancing the value of Free Games symbols, thus improving the chances of triggering Free Spins with additional spins. There is no option to buy a bonus directly; players must rely on the regular game to access these features. Free the Dragon™ is characterized by high volatility and focuses heavily on its bonus features—Dragon Feature and Free Spins—where the game’s potential is most effectively realized.
