Gold Hit: O'Reilly's Charms™ FB

Gold Hit: O'Reilly's Charms™ FB by Playtech is a video slot featuring 5 reels and a variable grid arranged in a 3-3-4-4-5 layout, providing 4608 ways to win. The game draws inspiration from Irish folklore, with prominent elements including green valleys, rainbows, four-leaf clovers, beer, and horseshoes. A Wild symbol is present, which substitutes for all regular symbols except for Bonus and Coin symbols. The Free Games feature is triggered when three or more BonusScatter symbols appear on the reels—landing 3 Bonuses awards 10 free spins, 4 Bonuses grants 12, and 5 Bonuses gives 15.

The main special feature is the Gold Hit Feature, where Coin symbols remain "locked" on the reels for three spins after being placed; if another Coin lands on the same reel during this time, the counter resets. Filling an entire reel with Coin symbols awards the total value of those coins. There are two types of Coin symbols: Cash Prize Coins that have a fixed value and Mystery Prize Coins that can award one of four random jackpots (Mini, Minor, Major, Mega).

During Free Games, Coin symbols lock immediately and stay in their positions throughout the entire free spins series. If a reel fills with Coin symbols during this feature, a Multiplier Wheel appears, which can provide up to a 10x multiplier that is then applied to all Coin symbols locked on that reel. The Free Games feature cannot be reactivated.

Additionally, there is a Feature Bet Mode that can be activated for a higher stake (1.5 times the current bet), which doubles the chances of triggering special features like Gold Hit or Free Games. Nolan assists in estimating whether the higher stake is worthwhile based on how frequently Bonus and Coin symbols appear in the base game. Thus, Gold Hit: O'Reilly's Charms™ FB offers a blend of easily understandable mechanics and excitement, especially when Coin symbols start to settle and accumulate valuable wins through multipliers or jackpots.
