Fire Blaze: Golden Macaque™

Fire Blaze: Golden Macaque™ from Playtech is a video slot that is part of Playtech's Fire Blaze series. The game features a layout with 5 reels and 3 rows, providing 243 ways to win instead of traditional paylines. The theme is inspired by ancient China and the Chinese zodiac, focusing on the golden macaque, among symbols such as tigers, rabbits, roosters, pigs, and the royal playing card icons. Golden macaque symbols act as Wilds and can substitute for most other symbols (except Scatter and Drum symbols) and appear only on reels 2, 3, and 4.

When three or more Gong Scatter symbols land, the Gong feature is activated, where the player can choose one of four Gongs; this choice grants either six free spins or direct access to the Fire Blaze Respin feature. During the free spins, the low-value card symbols are removed from the reels, so only high-paying animal symbols, Wilds, Scatters, and Drums can land, increasing the chances of bigger wins.

The Fire Blaze Respin feature is activated by landing six or more Drum symbols anywhere on the reels. When the feature is activated, the Drum symbols that triggered the feature are locked in place, and you receive three respins. New Drum or special symbols (Jackpot Stars or golden macaque symbols) that land during the respins are also held and reset the respin counter to three. Drum symbols reveal either instant cash prizes or Jackpot Star icons; these Stars convert to one of the three fixed jackpots (Mini, Minor, Major).

If all 15 positions on the reels are filled with Drum symbols, Jackpot Stars, or golden macaque symbols during the Respin feature, the Grand Jackpot is awarded. In this feature, golden macaque symbols can also award a prize equal to the total value of all Drum symbols. The game can be played on both desktop and mobile with polished graphics, a pagoda and valley background, as well as atmospheric, Asian-inspired sound effects that enhance the ambiance.
