Demon Beats

The game Demon Beats by Netent is a video slot played on a grid with 5 reels and 4 rows, offering 178 fixed ways to win. The theme combines the energy of rock-and-roll with demonic imagery and supernatural environments of the underworld, depicted through Asian mythological symbols such as a tiger and a dragon, carved stone tablets, neon lighting, and band visuals. One of the main mechanisms is the Avalanche system: when symbols cluster into a win, they disappear and new ones fall into their place, potentially triggering additional wins in the same spin. Below the reels is a multiplier pathway that rises through a series of steps in the main game (from x1 to x32) after wins or exploding colossal symbols; if a spin ends without wins and without visible colossal or battle symbols, the pathway resets. Wild symbols expand to cover the entire reel, and if they are on a reel with a colossal symbol, they turn it into a colossal Wild; overlapping expanded Wild symbols can increase multipliers up to x10. 2×2 colossal symbols can randomly appear (with some restrictions on the reels), and when part of a winning combination, they explode and remove all matching symbols on the grid; some even explode after spins without wins. There are Free Spins and Super Free Spins rounds, activated by landing 3-6 Bonus symbols; if at least one of them is a Super Bonus, the Super Free Spins mode is activated. The difference between Free Spins and Super Free Spins is that in regular Free Spins, the multiplier pathway can reset on losing spins, while in Super Free Spins, it never resets. There is also a Battle feature that can activate on losing spins without colossal symbols: a Battle symbol must be covered by Wild or colossal symbols that land on it, turning the dead spin into a spin full of symbol interactions. Finally, Demon Beats includes the Elevate feature (a bonus purchase menu where allowed), which offers options such as Bonus Hunt, Multiplier Upgrade, direct Free Spins or Super Free Spins, or guarantees a Battle symbol on the first spin.
