Sharky

Sharky, developed by Novomatic, is a video slot that features 5 reels and typically 9 paylines. The game immerses players in a pirate-themed adventure on the high seas, showcasing symbols such as Sharky the pirate, parrots, treasure chests, crossed cutlasses, ships, islands, and a compass, all beautifully illustrated against a tropical ocean backdrop. The wild symbol is represented by Sharky, who can replace regular symbols to create winning combinations, though he cannot substitute for scatter symbols. There are three types of scatter symbols: the compass scatter, which pays out when three or more appear anywhere on the reels, and a ship symbol on the first reel combined with a desert island symbol on the fifth reel, which activates the Free Spins feature.

When the Free Spins feature is triggered, players begin with 10 free spins, and this can be retriggered if the Ship and Island combination appears again. During the bonus round, a special wild known as the Rowing Pirate moves across the reels from left to right on consecutive spins. If this wild lands next to a treasure chest symbol, an instant win is granted. However, if a shark symbol appears next to the Rowing Pirate, he will be removed from the reels, concluding his wild journey.

Additionally, the base game includes a “gamble” or “risk” feature, allowing players to wager their winnings in a video poker-style card game to attempt to double their payout, subject to a limit, or to collect their winnings. Sharky does not include any additional rounds beyond Free Spins, nor does it offer bonus buys or progressive jackpots.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
