Red Horde by Mascot is a video slot that plays on a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 15 fixed paylines. The theme blends medieval fantasy and quaint village life with invading red goblins threatening farms and villagers, and symbols are styled with cartoonish flair—knights, farmers, a cow, goblins, playing cards and more setting the scene. In the base game there is a “growing modifiers” mechanic: each time a spin fails to win, one of several treasure chests on the side unlocks to reveal modifiers such as extra wilds (including stacked wilds) or win multipliers of up to ×5. The wild symbols substitute for other symbols except the scatter. The scatter is a blue gemstone pendant, and landing three or more scatters triggers the free spins bonus round. Free spins grant ten spins to start, and any modifiers active at the moment of triggering carry into that round. Free spins can also be retriggered by landing more scatter symbols during the bonus round. The maximum win is capped at 500× the stake.
