Space Wars 2

Netent's Space Wars 2 is a video slot featuring 6 reels and a 6×6 grid in the base game, which expands to 8 rows during Free Spins. Set against a vibrant sci-fi backdrop of alien battles, the game allows players to achieve wins through cluster or match wins both horizontally and vertically, rather than relying on fixed paylines. Each successful win awards Powerpoints™, which fill a meter; reaching specific levels enhances the win multiplier and helps trigger Free Spins. The game includes Avalanches, where symbols that contribute to a win explode, making way for new symbols to fall into place, continuing until no more wins are achieved. Among the special symbols are Wilds, which can substitute for payouts and can also be matched, along with Multiplier Wilds that appear only during Free Spins, offering multipliers ranging from 2× to 25× on the Powerpoints earned. Various feature effects enhance gameplay, including Column Blaster and Row Blaster for 4-symbol matches, Zapper for 5- or 6-symbol matches, and Bombs for wins that occur both horizontally and vertically; these features can combine into Combos for even greater impact. Collecting 1,000 or more Powerpoints in the base game unlocks Free Spins, granting a variable number of spins based on the Powerpoints gathered. During Free Spins, the height of the grid increases, and the Powerpoints meter remains active between spins, with opportunities to earn additional bonus spins at certain meter levels. A Bonus Buy option is also available, allowing players to directly access Free Spins for a cost related to their bet.
