Riches of Midgard: Land and Expand

Netent presents Riches of Midgard: Land and Expand, a video slot inspired by Norse mythology, immersing players in the realm of Midgard alongside iconic figures such as Odin, Thor, and Freya. The game features a base layout of 3 reels and 3 rows, complemented by 9 fixed paylines, and includes two additional Hot Spot reels positioned on either side of the main grid. When matching symbols appear on both Hot Spot reels and at least two of the regular reels, the Land and Expand feature is activated, causing those symbols to stretch across their respective reels and lock in place, granting a respin.

To initiate Free Spins, players need to land three Scatter symbols, represented by Thor’s hammer, which awards an initial 8 free spins. During this feature, if more Scatters appear on reel 3, players receive 2 additional spins and the height of the regular reels increases by one row, alternating up and down, with a maximum of 7 rows possible. As the reels grow taller, the number of active bet lines increases, reaching up to 29 when fully expanded.

In the Free Spins feature, a Wild symbol can be found on the left Hot Spot reel, substituting for standard symbols that land on the right Hot Spot reel. Additionally, players have the option to use the Feature Buy, allowing them to pay a fixed multiple of their spin bet to directly enter the Free Spins round. The game's graphics and soundtrack enhance the Viking theme, showcasing rich visuals and mythical imagery. The design effectively combines compact base-game mechanics with heightened excitement through expanding reels and the unlocking of paylines during bonus play.

You can play it for real money.
