Aurum Codex

Red Tiger presents Aurum Codex, a video slot featuring 5 reels and 3 rows, along with 20 fixed paylines. The setting is a shadowy alchemist's laboratory, adorned with manuscripts, potions, skulls, and ancient symbols, alluding to the transformation of base metals into gold. In the base game, the Alchemy Wilds serve as the primary Wild feature, appearing only on reels 1 and 5, and locking in place for the subsequent spin once they land. When two Alchemy Wilds occupy the same row, they convert all symbols between them into Golden Wilds, which can replace any paying symbols and enhance winning opportunities. To activate the Free Spins feature, players need to land three scatter symbols, represented by hourglasses, on reels 2, 3, and 4. This grants an initial 10 free spins, with the possibility of receiving up to 20 free spins if the hourglass randomly awards additional spins. During the Free Spins round, Alchemy Wilds become sticky, remaining fixed in their positions throughout the feature. The game includes regular symbols, which consist of low-value royals from 10 to Ace, alongside higher-value themed symbols such as skulls, scrolls, keys, and scales. The scales symbol stands out as the highest paying regular symbol, rewarding players more when three or more appear on a payline. The gameplay does not include a bonus buy option or a progressive jackpot.
