DEUCES & JOKERS

DEUCES & JOKERS by Red Rake Gaming is a video poker game rather than a traditional reel slot, combining classic poker draw mechanics with wild-card twists. The deck includes the Joker plus all four deuces, and these cards function as wilds which substitute for any other card when forming hands. Players are dealt five cards, choose which to hold, then draw replacements in a single draw round to try to assemble a winning poker hand. The game supports multi-hand play, allowing up to fifty hands in parallel, increasing both the action and chances for payout. After any winning hand, there is a gamble option (“Double Up”) where you may risk your win by guessing the color of a random card drawn to attempt doubling the payout. The theme is minimalistic and card-game focused, featuring clear displays of cards and a clean user interface that works on both desktop and mobile via HTML5. There are no free spins, no bonus rounds with reels, and no bonus-buy feature in DEUCES & JOKERS—features are limited to poker-hand play, wild cards, multi-hands, and the gamble function. Control elements include setting your wager per hand, selecting how many hands to play, then holding and drawing cards. The simplicity of theme is offset by depth in strategy, especially when deciding which cards to hold in the presence of multiple wild cards.
