Sun of Egypt

Booongo's Sun of Egypt is a video slot featuring 5 reels and 25 paylines, set against an Ancient Egyptian backdrop. Players will encounter symbols such as pharaohs, scarabs, ankhs, and hieroglyphic low cards, all framed by the architecture of temples and the sands of the desert. A notable aspect of the game is the Hold & Win bonus round, which is triggered by landing six or more Sun symbols anywhere on the reels. When activated, these Sun symbols become locked in place, and players receive a series of respins, starting with three. Each time a new Sun symbol appears, the respin counter resets. The Sun symbols can carry fixed cash values or jackpot labels, including Mini, Major, and Grand, with the Grand Jackpot awarded for filling all fifteen reel positions with Suns. Additionally, landing three Scatter symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4 activates the Free Spins feature, granting eight initial free spins and the potential for retriggers with more Scatters. During the Free Spins, low-value symbols are removed, ensuring that only high-paying symbols, Wilds, Scatters, and Suns are present. The Wild symbol in the game substitutes for regular symbols to assist in creating winning combinations, excluding Scatters and Suns. Bets can be placed at low to moderate levels per spin, providing accessibility while still allowing for significant payouts through the bonus features. The Grand Jackpot, achieved during the Hold & Win round, offers the highest win potential, multiplying the bet by up to 1000 times.
