Jungle Books by Yggdrasil is a video slot that utilizes a mechanic called Fusion Realms, which allows for five different characters set in five distinct realms. Each character acts as a "Host" in their own setting, with two special features, and can also appear as a "Guest" in other realms, bringing one of their features. The combinations of these interactions offer up to 45 possible feature combinations. The reel structure remains at five columns, but the number of rows and winning lines can vary between 58 and 68, depending on the active realm.

The game includes several types of Wilds: there is the simple Wild, the spreading Wild that generates 1-2 additional Wilds in random positions, and the Wild that multiplies wins on all lines containing it with a multiplier of ×3. There are no traditional free spins as fixed features based on scatters. In the Tiger mode, a sticky Respins feature is activated: when a winning combination is obtained, the winning symbols and Wilds remain locked for an additional respin. In the Bear realm, the Honeycomb symbol appears, allowing the player to make a choice ("pick-me") to reveal coin prizes.

In the Boy (Mowgli) realm, adjacent reels of equal height are synchronized to produce identical symbols, while in the Panther realm, higher-paying symbols can transform into Wilds accompanied by random multipliers. The Snake realm adds the "win both ways" feature, meaning lines pay from both left to right and applies a ×3 multiplier to wins that include at least one Wild. A Bonus Buy feature is not available. The visual aspect is well-crafted, with a theme featuring animals, fruits, vegetation, and jungle settings, and the sound experience accompanies the adventure through the various realms.
