Carol of the Elves

Carol of the Elves by Yggdrasil is a festive video slot with a 5-reel, 5-row layout that starts in a 1-3-5-3-1 diamond shape and can expand to a full 5×5 grid. The game is themed around Christmas cheer, complete with snow-foxes, polar bears, reindeer, and woodland elves bringing holiday magic to the reels. Initial gameplay begins with 12 ice Blockers covering symbol positions; these Blockers are removed by “Magic Stars” released from winning symbols. Each win grants a respin, and respins continue as long as winning combinations keep appearing. Once all Blockers are cleared, two special features activate: a Win Multiplier starting at ×2 (which increases by +1 for every five blue Magic Stars collected) and Extra Lives, awarded via collecting red Magic Stars in sets of five. Extra Lives allow the player to survive a losing respin without the Blockers resetting. There are no traditional wild or scatter symbols, and there is no free spins round; all bonus action comes from the respin chain and elf-powered features. The number of ways to win grows from 45 at the start to up to 3,125 once the grid is fully unlocked. The maximum win potential reaches up to roughly 5,800× the bet. Unknown.
