John Hunter And The Mayan Gods is a video slot from Pragmatic Play featuring 5 reels, 3 rows, and 10 fixed paylines. The theme is based on ancient Mayan mythology and jungle adventures – with the hero John Hunter on a quest through ruins, Mayan gods, and temples. The wild symbol is a golden mask wild symbol (Golden Mask), which can only appear on reels 2, 3, and 4 and expands vertically when it becomes part of a win. Scatter symbols in the form of Mayan temples trigger the free spins round with at least three hits; you receive 12 free spins. During the free spins, there is a progressive ladder: each wild that appears raises the current level and upgrades the lowest premium symbol to a higher value symbol. Additionally, wilds bring extra free spins – one for one wild, three for two wilds, five for three wilds. Scatters during the free spins can retrigger the round and grant an additional 12 free spins. The maximum win is approximately 2,500 times the bet.
You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
