The Great Stick-up

The Great Stick-up is a video slot by Pragmatic Play: it combines the wild west, crime movie atmosphere, and excitement on the streets of your hometown. The game features 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 fixed paylines, with symbols including various burglar setups such as maps, bare hands, handcuffs, piles of cash, and four top-background criminals. The wild symbol is represented by a character equipped with familiar crime investigator gear, which substitutes for all standard symbols except the scatter and rewards the highest wild win with five matching symbols. The scatter symbols are red sirens of police barricades, and landing at least three scatters triggers the Free Spins feature, granting seven free spins and a total sum based on the bet amount of the scatters. During the free spins, Sticky Mystery Symbols can appear: they remain in place for the duration of the spins and reveal a specific symbol – initially at the lowest level. Separate overlay sheriff symbols can link scatters to regular symbols; collecting two of these symbols raises the mystery symbol's reveal level and rewards an additional free spin. The maximum win in the game is 5,000 times your bet and can be realized during free spins when you have successfully collected enough sticky mystery symbols and their upgrades. The base game does not have a bonus buy feature or any other complex bonuses outside of Free Spins. The theme and visuals aim to capture the tones of an old American small-town murder story, and the soundtrack enhances the feeling of excitement culminating in Free Spins.
