Book of Panda Megaways

The video slot "Book of Panda Megaways" by BGaming features the Megaways™ engine, which creates a flexible 6-reel setup that can display between 2 and 7 symbols on each reel, resulting in as many as 117,649 potential winning combinations. Set against a backdrop inspired by Chinese culture, the game showcases an Oriental theme with visuals including pandas, lotus flowers, bamboo, golden monkeys, and a scroll or book symbol. The scroll symbol serves a dual purpose as both Wild and Scatter; it substitutes for other symbols in the base game and activates free spins when three or more are collected. Players start the Free Spins round with 12 free spins, and landing three or more scrolls during this phase allows for an additional 12 free spins to be retriggered. Prior to the free spins, a random regular paytable symbol (excluding the Scroll) is selected to become the Expanding symbol, which expands to fill the reel if it appears on three or more reels during the free spins, paying even on non-adjacent reels. Scroll symbols during free spins come with random multipliers of x2, x3, x5, or x10, and if multiple Scrolls are part of a winning spin, their multipliers are summed. An Extra Bet feature, known as Chance x2, raises the base stake to enhance the likelihood of triggering free spins naturally. For those who prefer immediate action, a Bonus Buy option is available, allowing players to purchase free spins with a randomly selected expanding symbol or a higher price for a guarantee of a high-paying expanding symbol. The game is characterized by very high volatility, with a maximum win capped at around 10,000 times the stake.
