Roadkill

Roadkill is a video slot from No Limit City where the game board has 5 reels and 3 rows, as well as up to 99 paylines. The game features a humorous and somewhat macabre theme where three animals – Papa Bear, Fred the Rabbit, and Deer Joe – rebel against careless drivers, represented by the cars Hilly and Billy. In the base game, Scatter symbols appear; with two Scatters, “Call to Arms” is activated, granting the player two hearts and turning the animals into Jumping Wilds that can block cars.

Each Jumping Wild has special abilities: Papa Bear can increase multipliers, Fred the Rabbit leaves behind Wilds and sets traps, and Deer Joe can split symbols on a row when the car is stopped – when fully developed, he can split across all rows. The player collects points via “Collectors” for each stopped car; when a Collector reaches five, the corresponding Jumping Wild is upgraded, and a normal heart becomes a reinforced heart.

When the player lands three Scatters, or all three Jumping Wilds are upgraded, the bonus round “Team Assemble” or the even more powerful “Junkyard Assault” is activated. In Junkyard Assault, each spin is played with both green and red cars active and a combined Collector that, when enough ‘hits’ have been reached, initiates the special feature Roadblock.

Roadblock transforms Jumping Wilds to cover entire rows and provides extra effects depending on which row is hit: it can become an extra Wild, split symbols on reel 5, or multiply a 3×3 Wild symbol by 2. If both cars are stopped, a giant 3×3 Wild appears over the battle area.

Roadkill also offers a Bonus Buy feature where the player can purchase direct entry to bonus modes such as Team Assemble, Junkyard Assault, or a random choice (“Lucky Draw”). The maximum potential win in the game is 11,091 times the bet, achievable through the game’s bonus features. The gaming experience is characterized by high volatility, vibrant graphics, and a pace that becomes increasingly intense the further one progresses into the game’s various bonus modes.
