No Limit City presents San Quentin xWays, a video slot featuring five reels and three rows that can significantly expand through unique mechanics. Set in the infamous San Quentin prison yard, the game immerses players in a gritty environment filled with tough inmates, barbed wire, and towering wilds.
Above and below each reel, Enhancer Cells remain locked until one or two BONUS symbols, represented by guard tower scatters, appear. When these symbols land, the Enhancer Cells unlock, transforming the corresponding BONUS symbol into a Wild. This unlocking can reveal a high-paying convict symbol, a Wild, a Razor Split, or an xWays symbol. The Razor Split feature divides all standard symbols on that reel into two, and if both Enhancer Cells are activated, it doubles the effect, increasing the number of symbols. Meanwhile, the xWays symbol can unveil stacks of the same regular paying symbol, enhancing the ways to win.
Triggering the Lockdown Spins feature occurs when three, four, or five BONUS symbols land anywhere on the reels, granting players one, two, or three Jumping Wilds, respectively. Before the free spins commence, the number of spins and a random multiplier are disclosed through the Enhancer Cells. During Lockdown Spins, all Enhancer Cells remain open, and Jumping Wilds shift to random positions with each spin. If a Jumping Wild lands on a reel featuring an active Razor Split, its multiplier is doubled for the remainder of the feature, with potential multipliers reaching up to 512×.
Additionally, a Feature Buy option is available where allowed, enabling players to directly access Lockdown Spins by selecting a trigger level with three, four, or five BONUS symbols at varying costs. The maximum possible win in the game, referred to as the “Psycho Manhunt,” is 150,000 times the base bet. San Quentin xWays is characterized by extreme volatility, focusing on the Enhancer Cells and Split Wilds in the base game, while the true potential is realized during the Lockdown Spins with Jumping Wilds and substantial multipliers.
You can play it for real money.
